A graduate of Duke University Medical School, Dr. Sherman has practiced in Tallahassee since completing his Family Practice Residency at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in l981. While working as a staff physician at TMH emergency department (1981-86) he and two partners founded and operated the Physician Care Walk-in Centers. When the centers were sold to the hospital he expanded his practice of Family Medicine to include a subspecialty in dermatology. He opened the Sherman Walk-in Center and Skin Clinic in l994 and welcomed Denise Redd, ARNP, as a fellow practitioner in l997. 
Denise Redd, a 30-year resident of Tallahassee, graduated from FSU with a master’s degree in nursing. As an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with board certification in Family Practice she works side-by-side with Dr. Sherman treating a wide range of medical problems as well as skin disorders. This is her 10th year practicing at the Sherman Walk-in Center and Skin Clinic. She is a dedicated FSU fan with interests in golf, gardening, and salt-water fishing. |
